Leadership St. Tammany seeks the best: highly motivated emerging or existing leaders who live or work in St. Tammany Parish. We strive to create classes representing a cross-section of our total community, including a racial, gender, age, geographic and occupational mix reflective of our population.

The selection committee reviews each application before assembling a class consisting of no more than 32 participants. Because diversity is critical for program success, you may need to apply more than once before being accepted.

Applicants are considered who:

• Demonstrate a personal and long-term commitment to the future of St. Tammany Parish
• Possess a record of involvement in community affairs
• Successfully navigate their careers or vocations
• Exhibit potential for great leadership

To apply, simply fill out the online application or download a PDF of the application here and submit with a photo of yourself and $100 deposit, which will be returned if you are not accepted, The deadline for the 2010-2011 class is Friday April 30, 2010. Please note our August opening retreat is mandatory, commencing late afternoon on a Friday. Monthly sessions are typically scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month.
